The Lean Construction Institute is looking for volunteers at the annual LCI Congress, taking place this year in New Orleans, Louisiana from October 18-21, 2022. The annual Congress supports the advancement of Lean methods and approaches within the design and construction industry.
Volunteers make Congress a success! The LCI staff and Congress planning team would not be able to execute a successful event without the support of our volunteers. Our ideal volunteer is a student or someone early in their career who has an interest in Lean methods and approaches. Preference will be given to candidates within those perimeters.
What does a volunteer schedule look like at Congress? The day starts with a check-in at the volunteer table. There you will receive a packet with important information and your nametag. You will also get your room assignment at the check-in desk. Once you are checked-in, head to your assigned room. Volunteers will be asked to perform a few tasks to include monitoring the session sign in sheet, hand out printed material and take a head count. All the information you will need will be included in your volunteer packet!
What are the benefits of volunteering? Sitting in on Core Program sessions, free lunch and exposure to design and construction professionals.
The deadline to volunteer is September 20, 2022.
We appreciate you volunteering for our event and look forward to working with you! More information to come via email closer to the event date.
