\nAnnie Clark, Chief Operating Officer, Education Facilities Development – Recovery School District (RSD). With federal funding of $1.8B, the RSD is the largest school recovery project in the history of the United States encompassing design and construction for some 80 schools over the past 15 years. It is a project with profound impacts on the local community and the future of this region. Hear Annie share lessons from this lengthy and complex undertaking.<\/p>\n

Robert Lapeyre – Laitram. With more than 1,300 actively held patents and 2,900+ employees, Laitram builds on a legacy of innovation and continuous improvement that dates back to 1949 when a 16 year old James Martial Lapeyre (Robert\u2019s father), invented the first automated shrimp peeler. Today, Laitram develops and manufactures equipment for a global client base including postal and e-commerce distribution centers. Hear Robert share a bit about their company values and efforts to drive a culture of innovation in tune with client needs.<\/p>\n

Thomas Corley – As Chief Recovery Officer for SBP – a national disaster recovery nonprofit – Thomas is responsible for shaping strategy, program expansion and team building for SBP’s disaster recovery and resilience programs. Thomas oversees reconstruction and home resiliency programs across eight regions, while establishing new operations in communities affected by hurricanes, floods, tornadoes and other natural disasters. Previously, Thomas served as Continuous Improvement Officer, guiding SBP’s adoption and adaption of the Toyota Production System and standardization of SBP’s operational practices. Through problem solving, team building and realized efficiency, Thomas has let SBP to serve over 2,000 homeowners affected by natural disasters. Prior to this, Thomas served as the Executive Director for SBP’s program in New York City serving Superstorm Sandy impacted communities.<\/p>\n
