COVID Countermeasures

In keeping with the foundational tenet of Lean thinking, respect for people (and their work environments), this year’s Congress will require face masks be worn indoors at all Congress events in order to limit as much as possible the spread of any infection. Attendees are asked to come prepared with face masks they prefer to use. We also will have masks available on site if needed during the program.

Consistent with local health authorities’ recommendations, we have arranged for a vendor-managed program of daily self-evaluation of individual attendee’s health status during the event. Each morning you will be asked to review your own health status based on several basic questions and record answers on your cell phone. Symptom-free individuals will then receive a wrist band each day qualifying them to enter the venue.

We will be practicing social distancing as much as possible, particularly in plenary and meal events. We encourage participants to practice appropriate distancing to the extent you can in the course of your interactions indoors at the event. Thank you for supporting us in these efforts and we look forward to seeing you in Phoenix!
