The 2020 LCI Congress will look different this year, but the content will be as good, if not better, than in the past. This year’s theme is The ABCs of Lean: Transformation through Actions, Best Practices and Coaching.
We know participants are looking for solutions and lessons learned or searching for alternatives for a variety of project challenges. Creating a Lean culture is a topic that many folks in the Lean community have been discussing recently. Presentations on the track, Transforming Behavior & Culture, will present ideas for creating a more inclusive, diverse and welcoming Lean culture in organizations. Take some time to browse the tracks and decide what aligns most with what you want to learn while at Congress this year.

Presenters at Congress are some of the best in the field. They have taken their experiences, both good and bad, and brought them to Congress to share with others and promote continuous improvement in the design and construction industry.
Experience levels at Congress are broken down into fundamental, intermediate and experienced. Fundamental presentations provide introductory information on Lean techniques and practices, while intermediate sessions are designed to provide specific information on the application of Lean practices to a project and discussing approaches that work well along with associated challenges. Experienced presentations are targeted to those with practical experience in applying Lean techniques. Our goal is to enable attendees to leave the 2020 Congress with a better understanding and fresh ideas for practical applications of Lean principles.
